I discovered soemthing interesting today when I did a Showcase demo. I brought up a watch and the arms in the watch are set at 10:10.

Apparently this is an industry standard. It appears there are a lot of rumors of there being different reasons. Timex confirmed that it is 1, and industry standard, 2, creates a happy face, 3, it allows for a good view of the company logo.

Also I read that there have been studies that showed that it made the watch more attractive some how. The standard used to be 8 something, but that didn't work becuase it looked like a frown apparently.
